Bio:
Giulia Costa teaches Italian as a second language at the University of Parma in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries since 2023 and she is the didactic coordinator for the Foundation Year programme. She holds a master’s degree in Language Sciences and Cultural Studies for Special Needs and a bachelor’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Civilisations. She has worked as a French as a foreign language teacher in middle school and has completed an internship as an English as a foreign language teacher in high school. Her research interests include Neuroscience-based language education, Applied Cognitive Linguistics, and, more generally, foreign and second language teaching and learning.
